The Detroit Regional Relocation Council Proudly Hosts:

DRRC Listen & Learn

The DRRC Program Committee is hosting a Listen and Learn session FREE to DRRC Members with CRP designations.

Sessions featured provide a value of 3 CRP Credits
(1 CRP Credit Each)

What Defines a Successful Relocation?
A successful relocation is not necessarily one that meets the established budgetary limits but one that is able to have the employee reporting for duty in the prescribed time, stress free from relocation issues. This session was designed for both corporate representatives and service providers to understand the value of a successful relocation in the eyes of the transferee and his/her family, the employer and the service provider. Look at the ability of the service provider to meet the expectations of the corporation, the ability of the contractor to satisfy the requirements of the relocating employee, and the ability to have a satisfied relocated employee ready to begin work at the new location.

Principles of Relocation Appraising: Definition, Forecasting, Review and Write Right (RAC Trac)
This session presents the basic principles of relocation appraising starting with the components of the value definition from the ERC Appraisal Report Form, to the key current differences in the types of appraisals, and onward to new school “Forecasting” techniques with market derived benchmarks. The “Write Right” session of enhanced report features is also presented. When a relocation appraisal is complete, learn the appraisal elements that reviewers and transferees are given and how they impact the transfer process.

 Inventory - Remember me?
Time to pull out those old inventory management binders from the closet and brush the dust off! What’s going on in the real estate marketplace? How do we prevent unnecessary inventory? How do we handle inventory properties in a slowing market? This session offers a refresher on carrying costs, marketing techniques, and alterations to property that is money well spent. Gain a better understanding of what happens when properties go into inventory and the costs associated with inventory. Learn techniques used by relocation professionals to market difficult properties.
